Sappi is offering a one-year internship for recent graduates in Environmental Science or Environmental Management. This program offers hands-on experience in managing environmental matters, including licensing, water use, and emissions, under the guidance of skilled mentors, helping candidates transition smoothly into the professional world.

Responsibilities

• Undertake environmental audits and inspections at Forestry and/or Mill operations
• Assist with the preparation of environmental and sustainability reports
• Assist with the completion of environmental risk assessments

Qualifications

• Grade 12/Matric qualification Bachelor's Degree, Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Environmental Science or Environmental Management
• No prior experience required
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Teams)
