Sibanye-Stillwater is offering a learnership program that combines theoretical knowledge and practical skills, providing participants with a strong foundation in the industry. This structured curriculum includes both theoretical assessments and hands-on work experience within a real-world environment, with guidance from experienced training professionals.

Responsibilities

• Understand program objectives and complete all modules within the required timeframe
• Attend SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) meetings, follow safety protocols, use safety equipment, and participate in risk assessments as needed
• Prepare and submit progress reports for relevant stakeholders
• Communicate feedback, suggestions, and recommendations to support ongoing improvements in the program

Qualifications

• Grade 12 Certificate with at least 60% in English, Mathematics, and Physical Science (minimum grade 5)
• University acceptance with an APS of 23 (mid-year results considered if still studying)
• Distinctions in Mathematics and Physical Science for enhanced eligibility
• Reside in the Driefontein Labour sending area or local community
• Complete a risk-based medical examination at the Sibanye Stillwater Occupational Health Centre
• Not currently enrolled in, or previously completed, any university studies
