Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a consulting team to deliver data analytics insights and support across healthcare and medical scheme projects
• Perform actuarial and data analysis for healthcare clients, including claims analysis, cost modeling, and risk assessment
• Develop, validate, and improve data models to drive insights and improve decision-making for clients
• Prepare data-driven reports and presentations for clients, communicating complex findings in a clear, actionable manner
• Support senior consultants with project tasks, including data extraction, data cleaning, and data transformation
• Work independently on specific analyses and deliverables, contributing to client deliverables and reports
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments, tools, and best practices in healthcare analytics and actuarial science
• Participate in training and development opportunities, leveraging actuarial study assistance for professional growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field
• Progression in actuarial exams or intention to pursue an actuarial qualification
• 1-3 years of experience in data analytics, actuarial analysis, or a related role (healthcare experience is a plus)
• Proficiency in data analytics tools such as SQL, Excel, and Python/R for data processing and analysis
