Hire Resolve’s client in the mechanical engineering industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Design Mechanical Engineer in Johannesburg. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and test mechanical systems and components to meet project requirements. Ensure compliance with safety and performance standards in mechanical engineering for water supply systems. Perform quality and performance analysis on mechanical equipment. Design and maintain electrical systems for buildings and waterworks. Evaluate systems for safety, reliability, and performance. Oversee the implementation of mechanical systems and ensure they meet customer needs and standards. Requirements: B.Eng. or BSc in Mechanical Engineering. Registered with the Engineering Registration Board (ERB). Minimum 10 years of experience as a Design Mechanical Engineer, specifically in electrical installations for large water supply pumping systems. Proven track record of working on at least 4 major bulk water transfer projects over the past 8 years.
