The Principal Staff Developer Advocate role at MongoDB involves driving MongoDB adoption in enterprise-level clients by engaging with senior technical leadership. Responsibilities

• Engage and influence executives and technical decision-makers at Fortune 1000 companies to promote MongoDB products
• Work with the Strategic Developer Relations team to deliver technical engagements and targeted education sessions
• Develop and maintain deep technical expertise in MongoDB's products, solutions, and industry trends
• Gather customer feedback and assess sentiment to influence MongoDB's product roadmap and advocate for customers
• Represent MongoDB at industry conferences, trade shows, and technical events

Qualifications

• 10+ years of technical consulting experience in Principal-level roles ( Solutions Architecture, Developer Advocacy, Software Architecture, or Enterprise Consulting)
• Recognized technical leader with hands-on experience implementing enterprise-scale RDBMS, MongoDB, or other database solutions
• Proven track record of ownership and leadership in enterprise projects, especially in legacy database platform migrations ( Oracle, DB2)
• Familiarity with modern application development frameworks and proficiency with at least one of the following: Java, C#, Python
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
