Sintrex Integration Services is offering a 12-month internship program where candidates will gain practical IT knowledge and skills. Reporting directly to the Training Manager, interns will undergo training and assessments to prepare for employment in junior roles within the company, such as Computer IT Operator, System Administrator, Drawing Team Member, Centre of Excellence Member, or Solutions Specialist.

Responsibilities

• Complete and pass all tasks and tests as outlined in the Internship Programme
• Integrate successfully into the Sintrex team
• Achieve all on-site and practical tasks and assignments
• Maintain up-to-date logbooks

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (NSC)
• A+ and N+ or similar IT-related certification
• Basic understanding of: Computer and network hardware, Operating systems such as Windows, Windows Server, and Linux
• Experience with SQL, network installation, or system setup is advantageous
• Knowledge of basic systems administration and OSI model
• High aptitude in IT environments
• Passion for technology and a drive to learn
• Entrepreneurial initiative (self-starter)
• Professionalism and strong attention to detail
• Team-oriented with excellent analytical skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
