OVK is offering a learnership program for passionate South African candidates eager to gain foundational knowledge and experience in the grain industry. This program provides a comprehensive curriculum combining theoretical examinations with practical, hands-on sessions conducted in a real-world workplace context. Under the guidance of expert training providers, learners will be mentored to make significant progress as they work towards certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform grading of grain commodities under supervision
• Manage inventory effectively
• Comply with food safety standards
• Adhere to occupational safety regulations
• Fulfill administrative duties as required

Qualifications

• Grade 12 qualification
• Completion of required grading courses through in-service training
• Computer literacy
• Strong administrative background
• Valid driver’s license
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluency in English and Afrikaans
• Strong interpersonal abilities
• Clear criminal record
• Traceable references
• Good physical health to handle workload
• Prior experience in the agricultural field (advantageous)
