The Ampath Technician Learnership 2025 aims to bridge the gap between academic education and professional skills, preparing participants for a rewarding career in healthcare. Participants will gain hands-on experience in state-of-the-art laboratories, clinics, and diagnostic centers while working alongside seasoned professionals. This learnership provides exposure to advanced technologies, methodologies, and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the laboratory for a safe work environment
• Build and foster positive relationships with clients to uphold Ampath’s reputation
• Perform general laboratory duties to support operational efficiency
• Accept and process specimens promptly to ensure a seamless workflow

Qualifications

• Possess a Medical Technician Certificate
• Registered with the HPCSA in the applicable register and practice field
• Experience working in a pathology laboratory environment
• Familiarity with the Meditech system and its applications
• Adherence to Ampath’s Safety, Health, and Environment management policy guidelines
