The MultiChoice Group is a leading media and entertainment company with a presence in South Africa, Dubai, and the Netherlands. As the home of brands like DStv, GOtv, SuperSport, M-Net, and Showmax, MultiChoice is dedicated to providing exceptional content across Africa. In this role, you will curate sports content on the Showmax platform for the Premier League, PSL, and other events, ensuring optimal content discovery, scheduling, and delivery processes.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the sports curator to develop editorial plans aligned to the sporting calendar and business objectives
Source and schedule Premier League, PSL, and additional sports content for Showmax
Curate live and VOD (Video on Demand) sports content daily
Brief creative elements for key assets
Work with marketing and CVM teams to promote sports content and drive consumption
Optimize content discovery through platform features
Monitor content delivery to ensure adherence to SLAs
Communicate daily with scheduling and operations teams regarding workflow
Escalate and resolve content delivery issues with the incident management team
Test new product and CMS features
Prepare reports on content delivery against operational SLAs
Generate weekly operational reports for live and VOD content delivery
Stay updated on industry trends in OTT (Over-the-Top) media
Seek opportunities to enhance delivery processes and ensure business success

Qualifications

Relevant degree in Marketing, Media, or Sports Management
Passion for local and international football
Availability to work weekends and after hours in line with the sporting calendar
Interest in the media and streaming industry
Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
Ability to work accurately under pressure
Assertiveness, attention to detail, and goal-oriented mindset
Ability to build and maintain relationships
Flexibility and adaptability to change
