The IT Business Analyst will play a dynamic role as part of an internal support team at Maersk Warehousing and Distribution. This position combines technical expertise, project management, and process improvement to support flawless system implementations, drive digital transformation, and enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• System Implementation and Support Lead and support new implementations of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transport Management Systems (TMS)
• Configure WMS at Level 1 and 2 to meet operational requirements
• Drive IT system implementations and ensure smooth onboarding for new customers
• Digital Transformation Support and create initiatives for digital transformation within the organization
• Evaluate tools and processes to maximize ROI and operational efficiency
• Process Documentation and Training Document processes and create Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and process maps
• Train users on new systems, processes, and tools
• Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement Identify and resolve operational and systemic challenges
• Propose and implement solutions for inefficiencies, safety issues, and compliance concerns
• Develop and track KPIs to monitor business trends and performance
• Project Management Create and execute project plans, setting measurable goals and tracking progress
• Act as a liaison for cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
• Customer Support Handle ad-hoc customer requests and provide solutions tailored to their needs
• Communicate operational updates effectively across departments

Qualifications

• Educational Requirements Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, or a related field
• Technical and Professional Expertise Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, distribution, fulfillment, or transportation
• Hands-on experience with WMS solutions and implementations
• Soft Skills Self-starter with the ability to learn new systems quickly
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High emotional intelligence, tact, and discretion in all interactions
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
