As a Corporate & Financial Institutions Coverage Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB), working closely with senior professionals to support client relationship management, financial analysis, risk assessment, and deal execution.

Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Relationship Managers (RMs) with client interaction, deal execution, and account planning
• Support business approvals and client documentation for transactions
• Engage with internal teams and product partners to coordinate financial solutions for clients
• Participate in client meetings, presentations, and strategy discussions

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree programme (Penultimate-year student, graduating in 2026)
• Degree Discipline: Open to all disciplines (Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or related fields preferred)
• Strong academic performance & extracurricular achievements
• Analytical & numeracy skills with attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
• Permanent legal right to work in South Africa
