Description

Scaled Inc., a U.S.-based firm supporting Managed Service Providers (MSPs) throughout North America, is seeking an Advanced IT Support Engineer. The role involves resolving escalated technical issues, training team members, and providing outstanding service to clients. The engineer will handle tickets unresolved by other engineers, focusing on reactive service issues. Strong communication, analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills are essential. Experience with Azure, WVD/RDS/Terminal Services, Networking, O365, and MS cloud technologies is required. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role and advanced certifications are expected.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary technical resource for the team, troubleshooting advanced cases
  • Set up and manage servers from start to finish
  • Perform initial problem diagnosis and determine next steps
  • Identify and discuss root causes of user technical issues
  • Collaborate efficiently with onsite technicians to diagnose and troubleshoot issues
  • Update technical support documentation as required

Qualifications

  • MCSE Certification
  • Advanced certifications from Cisco or HP
  • Azure Certified
  • VMware Certified
  • Cybersecurity certifications
