Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems, networks, and applications for threats and vulnerabilities
• Assist in incident response and security investigations
• Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
• Analyze and interpret security alerts from various tools and systems
• Collaborate with IT teams to implement security best practices and policies
• Assist in the development and execution of security awareness programs
• Stay up to date with the latest cyber threats, trends, and mitigation techniques
• Support compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or a related field
• Basic understanding of networking protocols, security concepts, and risk management
• Familiarity with security tools (SIEM, firewalls, antivirus software)
• Knowledge of programming/scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Passion for learning and staying updated on emerging cyber threats
