To enable data-driven insights and apply cognitive science for planning and policy development. The role involves designing and creating scripts/algorithms to review alerts, using data to solve market surveillance business problems, and identifying/documenting defects. The appointed individual will report to the Senior Specialist: Data Analysis.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market conduct surveillance through computer-based analysis
• Review alerts and determine if activities violate regulations
• Develop and design scripts for reviewing alerts
• Research, analyze, and resolve complex problems
• Prepare and present reports to stakeholders

Qualifications

• A Degree in Statistics, Engineering, Business Analytics, Investment Analytics, Risk Management, or equivalent qualification
• Intermediate knowledge of market surveillance systems
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in market surveillance, research, and implementation, preferably in the financial services sector
