The role involves continuously reviewing and analyzing supply chain data to identify opportunities for optimizing On-Time In-Full (OTIF) performance, adherence to plans, and cost targets from material supply to finished goods. Responsibilities include building algorithms and designing experiments to merge, manage, interrogate, and extract data to provide tailored reports to colleagues, customers, or the wider organization. Additionally, the role requires creating processes and methods to automate information gathering across the value chain, maintaining accurate data to support supply chain decision-making, and streamlining and automating all internal and external supply chain reports. It also involves developing and maintaining detailed process maps of key value chain processes for optimization and simulation purposes. The position supports the Supply Chain Analytics Centre of Excellence by advising on product rise, work center allocation, and level loading improvements, as well as using descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics to identify problematic areas and suggest improvements. The ultimate goal is to use analysis results to enhance supply chain processes, improve performance, and reduce costs.
