The RCL FOODS Talent Team is on the hunt for an experienced Creditors Clerk to join our Group Services Division. The role will be based in Durban and report to the Accounts Payable Accountant. RCL FOODS entrusts the successful incumbent to maintain the records of every supplier (vendor) that enters into a transaction with the Group.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the matching of invoices and credit memos with SAP receipts in the GR/IR (Goods Receipt/Invoice Receipt) account
• -Ensure thorough verification of invoices and credit memos for compliance with VAT legislation
• -Oversee the accurate entry of invoices and credit memos into the SAP system
• -Ensure that supplier quantities and price charges reconcile, are allocated to the correct contracts, and reflect the appropriate payment terms
• -Investigate and resolve discrepancies between supplier statements, invoices, Group receipts, and purchase orders
• -Manage the clearance of down payments in collaboration with the Creditors Controller where applicable
• -Ensure proper collation of supplier invoices and statements
• -Prepare creditors' reconciliations and align creditor statements with the Accounts Payable trial balance and payment schedules
• -Oversee the preparation of monthly accruals and ensure they are captured by the GL team

Qualifications

• -Matric with mathematics and accountancy
