Key Responsibilities include planning, developing, testing, and documenting advanced e-commerce solutions for our clients. You will develop customer-specific and generic Magento modules, and create integrations between Magento and third-party products. Part of your role will be to improve our continuous deployment platform, which supports a large number of our clients, and develop and write best practice code that is generic and reusable.
Skills & Requirements include familiarity with server-side web development technologies, and advanced experience using PHP to create and consume web services (SOAP, XML-RPC). You should be skilled in coding and maintaining web applications, proficient with Linux command line and debugger tools such as xDebug or Zend Debugger. Experience with the GIT version control system, understanding of database schema architecture, and advanced object-oriented development skills with solid experience interacting with MySQL database systems are also required.
