Description

As a Human Resource Trainee, you will be part of our 4–5 year Management Trainee Programme, which is built on the foundation of authentic leadership and long-term career development. You will gain in-depth exposure to key HR functions while taking ownership of real projects that impact our people and culture. The programme begins with a hands-on introduction to our workplace and continues through structured rotations within the HR department—including talent acquisition, employee relations, learning & development, performance management, and HR operations. Through continuous mentorship and training, you'll build the skills, confidence, and insight needed to grow into a future HR leader.

Responsibilities

• Support recruitment and onboarding processes for various departments
• Assist in coordinating training programmes, workshops, and employee engagement initiatives
• Participate in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
• Collaborate on performance management and employee development plans
• Contribute to data gathering, analysis, and reporting for workforce planning
• Assist with HR compliance and documentation processes
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support organizational and culture initiatives
• Engage in mentorship and training sessions focused on leadership and professional growth

Qualifications

• Completed studies or currently in the final year of study in B-Tech Human Resources Management / BCom Human Resources Management / BCom Industrial Psychology / BSocial Science Honours in Industrial, Organisational and Labour Studies (Human Resource Management) / Bachelor of Arts Honours in Industrial Psychology / Bachelor of Arts HR, Managament, Industrial Psychology / Bachelor of Business Science in Human Resources Management
• South African citizen or permanent resident
• Good academic results in your majors in 2nd and 3rd year
• Computer Literacy (MS Office, including Excel and Word)
• A valid South African driver's (Preferred)
