Responsibilities

• Translate business problems into data-driven solutions using large datasets
• Perform data validation, statistical analysis, and data management
• Apply big data tools such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, and AI technologies
• Understand and work within regulatory frameworks and governance requirements
• Provide insight and contribute to risk management within financial services
• Collaborate with stakeholders and deliver impactful analytical outcomes

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in SQL
• Experience with large data sets and statistical analysis
• Familiarity with big data tools (Apache Spark, Hadoop, AI)
• Knowledge of financial services and governance requirements
• Bachelor's degree with at least 60% grade in any discipline
• Eligible to work in South Africa
• English proficiency level B2 or higher
• Stakeholder management skills
