The role is focused on designing, implementing, and supporting business systems and processes throughout their development life cycle. This encompasses solution design, business analysis, implementation, and post-implementation support, as well as maintaining the solutions hub.
Responsibilities include ensuring Massmart Applications are available and operational 24 hours a day, providing system assistance at any given time, and offering general support to all Massmart Applications users. In terms of maintenance, the role involves managing and contributing within a team to establish and maintain a solution landscape that includes all applications and interfaces in use, as well as relevant business solutions. This includes driving the utilization and leveraging of applications, interfaces, and business solutions, and communicating and sharing these with the business. The role also involves assisting with initiatives relevant to the innovation and improvement of Massmart applications, implementing user-recommended changes based on business rules, and ensuring smooth operation and maintenance of Massmart Applications.
