The Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst plays a key role in converting business needs into actionable insights to support strategic decision-making. This role requires strong data analysis skills, proficiency in BI tools, and the ability to communicate complex technical information to a variety of audiences.

Responsibilities

• Identify, collect, and clean data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and integrity
• Design and maintain scalable and high-performance data models and warehouses
• Develop and maintain ETL processes to load data from source systems
• Conduct in-depth analysis to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights
• Design and build interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools
• Monitor BI solutions and suggest areas for improvement
• Document data sources, ETL pipelines, reports, and dashboards
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Stay updated with the latest BI tools, technologies, and best practices
• Mentor junior analysts and share best practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (eg Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics) or equivalent experience
• 5–8 years of experience in business intelligence or data analysis
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling techniques
• Experience with BI visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Experience with cloud-based data warehousing (eg Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) is a plus
• Experience with scripting languages (eg Python, R) is a plus
• Knowledge of statistical methods is a plus
