Description

The Business Process Analyst is responsible for analyzing, mapping, and identifying opportunities for business process improvement. The role ensures quality solution delivery and includes the training of end-users. The incumbent will work closely with stakeholders and IT teams to align systems with business processes, conduct thorough software testing, and lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse and design business processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness through automation and technology
  • Conduct process mapping and data analysis to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies
  • Gather and analyze business data to create informed reports and recommendations
  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders for process design and system alignment
  • Provide training and support to end-users, especially on Microsoft Dynamics 365 functionalities
  • Design and deliver workshops and training sessions, developing relevant materials
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and implement improvements
  • Lead and plan strategic business process improvement initiatives
  • Maintain and document business process libraries with version control
  • Develop and implement test strategies, test cases, and perform various types of testing
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in collaboration with developers
  • Monitor post-implementation process performance and drive ongoing improvements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent
  • Certification in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (eg Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals)
  • Lean / Six Sigma experience is an added advantage
  • 5–8 years of experience in business process analysis or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in software testing or software quality assurance
  • Proven experience in business process analysis, software testing, and training in large-scale IT projects
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies
  • Proficiency in process mapping tools and business architecture
  • Team leadership and stakeholder management experience
