Description

My client is looking for a Test Automation Engineer who will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency and scalability of their software products. Based in Cape Town, this role (mostly hybrid) requires a qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field, with a minimum of 3 years experience in Robot Framework.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated tests (to establish a strong automated test foundation that ensures software quality, accelerates feedback and supports frequent releases)
• Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines to achieve continuous testing by embedding automated checks in the delivery life-cycle for fast, reliable releases
• Maintain and optimize Test Frameworks to build a scalable, maintainable automation infrastructure that adapts to evolving product complexity
• Collaboration with cross functional teams
• Documentation and Reporting

Qualifications

• Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field, with a minimum of 3 years experience in Robot Framework
• Proficiency in PYTHON
• Experience with Jenkins, GitHub and Test Rail
• Strong understanding of MSSQL
• Experience integrating test automation into CI/CD workflows
• Familiarity with version control and test case management best practices
