As a Test Analyst at FNB, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring that software products and systems meet quality standards. You’ll collaborate with Business Analysts and technical teams to design, implement, and execute test plans that support the delivery of reliable, innovative, and efficient systems. The role is suited for detail-oriented individuals who thrive in dynamic environments, can manage costs effectively, and are committed to customer service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Testing and Quality Assurance: Design test procedures for full program suites
• Create and execute test plans and test scripts
• Develop detailed design steps in Quality Centre
• Perform all allocated test activities for assigned projects
• Ensure alignment of test environments with production environments
• Submit defect reports and highlight issues to stakeholders
• Treat production issues as a top priority
• Governance, Risk & Compliance: Ensure adherence to governance standards and testing policies
• Monitor compliance with relevant laws and internal procedures
• Identify and escalate risks that may affect quality or cost
• Participate in specialist risk forums and provide input on improvements
• Cost Management: Manage testing activities within approved budgets
• Review cost reports and address variances
• Prioritize resource allocation to reduce wastage and optimize cost-efficiency
• Customer Service & Stakeholder Engagement: Engage cross-functionally to provide and obtain support
• Deliver exceptional service aligned with FNB's values
• Collect and analyze customer feedback to inform quality improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree / National Diploma in one of the following: Information Technology
• Computer Science
• Software Engineering
• Information Systems
• Business Analysis
• Quality Assurance / Testing
