Discovery Life is seeking a Software Quality Analyst (SQA) to design, execute, and manage test cases ensuring software meets business and functional requirements. The role includes defect identification, functional/system/integration/regression testing, and collaboration with developers to resolve issues, while maintaining high-quality documentation in alignment with project standards.

Responsibilities

• Participate in requirement reviews, backlog grooming, and test planning
• Develop and execute manual test cases, identifying automation opportunities
• Ensure traceability between requirements and test cases
• Prepare test data and execute tests prior to implementation
• Log and manage defects through to resolution
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and communicate known issues
• Complete post-release administration to meet audit requirements
• Collaborate with team members and business users to ensure quality deliverables

Qualifications

• Essential:
• Matric
• ISTQB Foundation (manual testing)
• 1–4 years’ software testing experience
• Knowledge of QA/testing methodologies and Agile testing
• Experience in JIRA and Xray
• Advantageous:
• Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related technical discipline
• UAT and business handover skills
