Transnet Engineering is seeking a Young Professional-in-Training (Environmental Management) for a two-year program in Salt River, South Africa. The position involves shadowing staff, participating in learning experiences, and gaining practical experience in customer communication, administrative tasks, and project execution. The ideal candidate should have a National Diploma or BCom Degree in Environmental Management, 0-1 year of relevant work experience, and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers to ensure a clear understanding of their needs, including the level of urgency
• Ensure that queries are addressed in a satisfactory and timeous manner
• Provide general administrative, research and assistance
• Take work briefs/instructions from Mentor and/or Specialist to structure the work required to produce specific deliverables

Qualifications

• National Diploma or BCom Degree in Environmental Management/related qualification
• 0–1 year of relevant work experience
