Description

The Global IT Support I role is responsible for providing professional end-user IT support within GLI. This includes setting up, maintaining, and upgrading hardware/software, responding to IT tickets, managing assets, supporting LAN/WAN environments, and ensuring network security. The role also involves assisting global IT staff, providing training/documentation, and reporting regularly to the IT Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to IT ticket system issues in a timely manner
  • Troubleshoot and resolve end-user hardware/software issues
  • Support LAN/WAN environments and perform installations
  • Maintain logs, records, and reports of troubleshooting requests
  • Provide hands-on training and create IT documentation when needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field (certifications/training/experience may be considered in lieu)
  • Minimum 3 years of related IT support experience
  • Working knowledge of network topology and remote access devices
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and technical communication skills
