Our client, a well-established leader in the pharmaceutical industry, is seeking a skilled and analytical BI Developer to join their team. This role is central to the Business Intelligence function, focusing on the end-to-end development, support, and maintenance of BI and Data Warehouse environments. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a strong foundation in Microsoft's BI stack and a passion for turning data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust business intelligence solutions using Microsoft SQL Server, Power BI, and other relevant tools
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) for BI projects, from analysis and design to development, testing, and deployment
• Provide daily operational support, troubleshooting, and monitoring for existing BI solutions to ensure data accuracy and system integrity
• Design and optimize complex SQL queries, views, and stored procedures for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL)
• Collaborate with business users and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions
• Develop and maintain documentation for all BI processes, data models, and report definitions
• Apply data warehousing concepts and methodologies to design efficient and scalable data models

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Certification: A Microsoft BI certification is highly advantageous
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a BI Developer with a strong focus on:
• Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS)
• Power BI for data visualization and reporting
• Data modelling and data warehousing methodologies
• ETL processes and tools
• Preferred Skills:
• Experience with cloud data technologies (eg, Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics)
• Knowledge of PHP & MySQL is advantageous
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects effectively
