Description

The Specialist: Advanced Analytics plays a critical role in driving data driven decision making within the Base Growth and Analytics department. This position focuses on leveraging advanced analytics to enhance Customer Value Management (CVM) strategies, optimise personalised propositions, and improve the effectiveness of below the-line campaigns. By analysing customer behaviour and market trends, the role contributes to identifying and fulfilling customer needs, ensuring the delivery of impactful and scalable offerings that create mutual value. This is a highly influential role with direct impact on how millions of customers engage with the company’s products and services daily.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Senior Analysts with defining the framework for performance monitoring and metrics to measure the impact for all product offerings with the appropriate cadence and frequency • Contribute to defining and implementing the personalised product strategy and roadmap through specialized expertise and insight to ensure that the strategy meets business needs • Work closely with cross functional teams to ensure you build relevant solutions for our customer base • Contribute to executing the CVM strategy from an analytics perspective • Champion an innovation strategy within the innovation road map, ensuring the right resources are in place to execute on the strategy • Assist in driving the advanced analytics function within the Base Growth team • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven solutions that enhance customer value and business performance

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in a commercially focussed role in either Retail Banking, Financial Services, Telecoms, E-commerce or similar • Expertise in data manipulation: use of structured data tools (e

  • SQL), & unstructured data tools and platforms (e
  • g
  • , Hadoop, Spark, NoSQL) • Expertise in major statistical modelling software packages (e
  • g
  • , R, SAS, Python) and multivariate techniques (e
  • g
  • k-means segmentation, multiple regression, factor analysis, time-series forecasting) • Experience building brand new products or working in a start-up environment • Experience working with personalised marketing technology • Analytics or similar experience • Experience in Telecommunications industry (desired)
