A leading financial services provider is modernising its insurance platform and seeking a skilled Python/Django QA Tester to join its technology team. The role involves building robust test automation frameworks, integrating quality into CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring performance, reliability, and security of Django-based systems. This position is ideal for a seasoned SDET or Automation Engineer with strong Python expertise, financial systems exposure, and a passion for quality-driven development.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks
• Develop and execute automated functional, API, regression, and performance tests
• Participate in code reviews to ensure testability and quality
• Identify, document, and resolve software defects via Jira
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Conduct performance testing and identify system bottlenecks
• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote knowledge sharing
• Contribute to QA strategy, best practices, and risk mitigation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or equivalent practical experience
• 3–5 years’ experience as an SDET, QA Automation Engineer, or similar role
• Strong proficiency in Python and Django (including ORM and testing utilities)
• Experience with SQL and relational databases
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum or Kanban methodologies
