The Data Analytics Engineer's main responsibilities include defining a structured approach to problem-solving, creating role-specific design standards, advising on team workload planning, collaborating with other data engineers and data modelers, creating and automating reports for a large user base, identifying and designing internal process improvements, monitoring and fine-tuning data pipelines, reports, and information layer for optimal performance, managing hardware and software in the SDH Analytics environment, using modern development and modeling techniques to implement BI and data management solutions, engaging with technical stakeholders, supporting data stewards in establishing and enforcing guidelines for data collection, quality improvements, integration, and processes, and designing and implementing dimensional models in the analytical layer.
Qualifications for this role include a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems, Engineering, or another quantitative field, or a National Diploma in Information Technology, and at least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar environment working with relevant tools and techniques.
