Description

The City of Ekurhuleni is offering a six-month trainee programme for unemployed residents. Successful candidates will attend theoretical and practical learning sessions focused on last mile delivery operations. Responsibilities include attending all sessions, complying with workplace policies, completing assessments, and working as part of the learning process. A willingness to learn and follow instructions from Supervisors is essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning, digging, planting, sweeping, grass cutting, refuse collection, and general site upkeep
• Assist with general maintenance of municipal infrastructure and assets
• Operate basic hand tools and small equipment under supervision

Qualifications

• Grade 10 (or equivalent)
• South African citizen
• Ekurhuleni resident (Specify Ward Number)
