Description

The Security Officer will contribute to the delivery of an effective, full-time physical security service to protect Armscor’s personnel, visitors, and assets. The role involves implementing access control, observation, guarding, and patrolling duties in line with security policies, procedures, and legal requirements to prevent security breaches and safeguard corporate assets.

Responsibilities

• Conduct access and exit control to safeguard premises and prevent asset loss
• Perform observation, guarding, and patrolling duties at assigned security points
• Report security risks, hazards, suspicious objects, and persons to Shift Leader
• Execute protection functions per policy, procedure, and law

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Security Officer Grade B (PSIRA recognised)
• Firearm Competency Certificate
