The SAB ARPL Accredited Technical Training Centre offers trade opportunities in various fields, including millwright, fitter & Turner, electrical, and instrumentation & control. Minimum requirements include an N2 certificate, technical trade theory programs, relevant engineering NCV, technical grade 12, and a National Technical Diploma.

Responsibilities

  • Undergo an initial ARPL (Artisan Recognition of Prior Learning) assessment at the SAB Technical Training Centre in Rosslyn, Gauteng
  • Complete identified gap training based on the ARPL assessment results
  • Participate in structured learning and practical training sessions aligned with trade standards
  • Prepare thoroughly for the trade test governed and accredited by QCTO, NAMB, and DHET

Qualifications

  • N2 Certificate including the relevant trade theory subjects and a minimum of 3 years relevant work experience
  • Technical trade theory programs quality assured by a SETA deemed to be at NQF level 3 and a minimum of 3 years relevant work experience
  • Relevant Engineering NCV at NQF level 3 and a minimum of 3 years relevant work experience
