5. Description This is a full-time internship for a qualified individual to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the installation, calibration, servicing, and maintenance of instrumentation and related equipment up to the component level. This role offers hands-on experience in a dynamic industrial environment, working with field devices, technical drawings, and PLC systems, while adhering to strict safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, calibrate, service, and maintain instruments and related equipment
• Interpret engineering design drawings and compile Bills of Materials (BOM) for purchasing
• Install and maintain instrument field devices

Qualifications

• National Diploma Industrial Instrumentation
• Good insight in the step-by-step operations of machinery & processes
• Good knowledge & understanding of field devices used e,g, sensors, level sensing, pressures, temperatures, etc
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Good fault finding and trouble shooting skills
• Be available for standby duties and overtime when and as needed
• Must be able to work under pressure
• Interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well at all levels
