Description

A 4-year apprenticeship program to train and qualify as a Motor Mechanic. The role involves assisting with vehicle repairs under the supervision of a qualified Technician while fulfilling MerSETA trade requirements, attending training courses, and passing level tests.

Responsibilities

• Attend scheduled technical/level training courses
• Assist with vehicle repairs under supervision
• Prepare for and pass level tests to qualify within 4 years

Qualifications

• Grade 12 with Pure Maths and Physical Science
• Valid, unendorsed driver’s license
• Must have a clear criminal record
• Mechanical insight and technical skills are an advantage
