The South African Police Service (SAPS) is offering two (2) Integrity Management Practitioner Internship opportunities at Head Office, Pretoria, under the Graduate Recruitment Scheme 2025/2026. This twelve (12) month programme provides exposure to integrity management, ethics, and compliance processes within the SAPS, with a focus on ethical standards, conflict of interest, and corruption prevention.

Responsibilities

• Administering and processing financial disclosure applications for all SAPS categories
• Administering and processing Other Remunerative Work Outside SAPS applications for employees
• Administering submission and analysis of financial declarations
• Supporting Integrity Assessments and Lifestyle Audits for SAPS employees
• Analysing trends in unethical conduct, fraud, and corruption
• Compiling and maintaining Declaration of Interest Registers (Gift Register, Donations, Conflict of Interest, Protective Disclosure cases)
• Conducting investigations into reported ethical breaches and conflicts of interest
• Assisting with case resolution for unethical behaviour, including monitoring and reporting on ethics-related matters
• Compiling investigation reports
• Providing administrative support to the SAPS Ethics Committee
• Preparing responses to oversight body reports
• Supporting ethics programmes (advocacy, education, awareness, and communication initiatives)
• Ensuring compliance with the SAPS Code of Conduct and ethics programmes
• Maintaining the Case Management System

Qualifications

• South African citizenship with a National Senior Certificate (or equivalent NCV L4)
• No previous criminal convictions or pending cases
• Unemployed status (not previously employed in the relevant field and not part of any similar internship programme)
• Residency in the province where the post is advertised
• A three year National Diploma / Bachelor Degree in Public Administration / Public Management / Human Resource Management / Internal Audit / Risk Management / Forensic Investigation / Law and Policing
