Description

The Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA), a SETA under the Department of Higher Education and Training, is offering a two-year internship in its Stakeholder Relations Unit. The internship provides exposure to communication strategy implementation, event coordination, brand management, media relations, social media content creation, publications, stakeholder liaison, and general administrative support.

Responsibilities

• Implement the MQA Communication Strategy and annual operational plan
• Plan, coordinate, and report on events (forums, conferences, workshops, staff events)
• Manage brand identity and corporate image
• Develop and manage publications: brochures, newsletters, annual reports, internal communications

Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12
• National Diploma or equivalent at NQF Level 6 in Communications
• Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) in Communications = added advantage
