We are hiring for our UAE-based partner and offering a fully remote position based out of South Africa for a QA Engineer (Manual Tester). As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for managing test documentation using Jira/XRay and Confluence, performing functional testing of APIs, and supporting the full cycle of defect management. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of manual QA experience, with a strong proficiency in test design, documenting test cases, REST API testing using Postman, and working with the Atlassian stack (Jira/Confluence). Additionally, you should have experience with relational databases and SQL queries, and logs analysis using Grafana Loki. Proficiency in Java Spring and Postgres is essential. While not mandatory, experience with XRay (Jira plugin), Kubernetes (k8s) and Docker, and web applications testing, including mobile browsers, would be advantageous. English proficiency at an intermediate level (B1) is required.
