Transnet Port Terminals in Durban is offering a 24-month Young Professional-in-Training programme for recent graduates in fields such as Management Accounting, Economics, Marketing, and Logistics. This structured programme provides hands-on workplace experience through mentorship, project work, and cross-functional exposure. Ideal candidates are South African citizens aged 18–35 with 0–1 year of experience and strong communication, problem-solving, and MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that queries are addressed in a satisfactory and timeous manner
• Provide general administrative, research and assistance
• Take work briefs/instructions from Mentor and/or Specialist to structure the work required to produce specific deliverables
• Execute project work task effectively and efficiently as an individual and collaboratively
• Produce quality work that can be used as input to develop the most appropriate project solutions for the client

Qualifications

• Degree, BTech, or Diploma in one of the following fields: Management Accounting
• Economics
• Marketing
• Financial Management
• Financial Accounting
• Business Management
• Logistics
