The Graduate in Training (GIT) Computer Science & Information Technology (L07) position is available for an internship in the Electricity, Energy & Water Supply industry in Gauteng. The position requires applicants to not be studying full-time in the year of employment, not have participated in an internship program before, and be a South African citizen. The position offers market-related remuneration and on-the-job training. The job requires a minimum of a fully completed BCom, BSc in Computer Science or Information Technology (NQF Level 7) and unemployed status.

Responsibilities

• Support IT operations by assisting with software development, system support, networking, and database management tasks
• Learn and apply Eskom’s IT policies, standards, and procedures in daily activities
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting under supervision
• Contribute to IT-related projects, research, and innovation initiatives
• Collaborate with senior IT professionals and mentors to develop professional and technical competencies

Qualifications

• BCom, BSc in Computer Science or Information Technology (NQF Level 7)
