Description

Krutham is offering a 6-month rotational internship programme in Johannesburg, allowing exceptional candidates to gain comprehensive exposure to their diverse business units. The program includes three months in each of the four business units: capital markets, politics, macroeconomics, banking and financial sector policy, impact advisory, impact capital and impact management, and just energy transition and infrastructure. The internship requires a 40-hour commitment and a monthly stipend. The ideal candidate should have a strong academic background, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of the South African economic and policy landscape.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyse market-moving developments, political and economic risks, and the impact of regulations
• Assist in preparing reports and insights that guide investors, governments, and businesses in making strategic decisions
• Support work with banks, regulators, philanthropies, and global organisations
• Analyse policy frameworks, research innovative financial solutions, and help prepare recommendations that address key socioeconomic challenges
• Assist in developing impact structures such as outcome funds

Qualifications

• Honours, Master's or PhD degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Public Policy, Political Science, Engineering, Philosophy, Sociology, Environmental Science, or related fields
