The Engineer in Training programme at Eskom offers recent engineering graduates an opportunity to gain both institutionalised and on-the-job training. The initiative is designed to develop technical expertise, leadership abilities, and professional competencies while preparing trainees for future engineering roles within the energy sector.

Responsibilities

• Participate in structured institutional and on-the-job training programmes
• Apply engineering knowledge to real-world projects and operational challenges
• Assist senior engineers and technical teams in daily operations
• Support compliance with Eskom’s policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives

Qualifications

• Fully Completed Engineering Degree, B Eng/BSC Eng (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Civil, Electro-Mechanical)
• Must be a South African Citizen
