Discovery Health Systems is seeking a Junior Query Analyst to join its dynamic Information Technology team. This role is central to managing and resolving problem incidents within the CA system, leveraging knowledge of Discovery Health products, rules, and systems to validate and address reported issues. Responsibilities

• Review and investigate problem reports using appropriate tools
• Create accurate and complete system problem/datafix documents based on system knowledge and stakeholder analysis
• Engage stakeholders when technical issues require business decisions and respond to development team queries
• Identify causes of system errors and apply pre-written SQL to correct data
• Collaborate with developers and development managers to formulate solutions
• Plan, code, and quality check ad hoc reports requested by business and departmental teams

Qualifications

• Matric and/or relevant IT qualification
• Minimum of 1 year experience in an IT environment or Health Insurance Industry
• Experience with Oracle SQL/PLSQL
• Product knowledge
• Proficiency in MS Office, CA, and Paradigm
