SAB is offering an 18-month Engineering Trainee programme designed to equip graduates with technical skills, hands-on experience, and a deep understanding of company culture and operational principles. This structured initiative aims to prepare participants for immediate responsibility within the business upon completion. Trainees will engage in self-directed learning, project participation, and leadership development while applying VPO principles and contributing to brewery priorities. The programme fosters innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement across departments, empowering individuals to grow within a high-performance environment.

Responsibilities

• Gain full understanding of theory, principles and operation of equipment across various departments
• Participate in projects aligned to programme requirements and brewery priorities
• Apply VPO principles
• Diagnose systemic and situational problems and perform troubleshooting
• Participate in team structures including acting roles in identified leadership positions
• Communicate learnings and solutions across various levels of the business

Qualifications

• BSC, BEng or BTech or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics, Energy or Mechatronics
• BSC in Chemical Engineering
• BSC or BTech in Biotechnology, Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry or Biology
