The Rand Refinery Graduate Internship Programme 2025/2026 is an 18-month structured opportunity designed to equip recent graduates with practical experience, professional development, and exposure to one of South Africa’s leading precious metals refineries. Based in Johannesburg, this internship offers hands-on involvement in real business operations, mentorship from industry experts, and the chance to contribute meaningfully to the gold value chain. Interns will gain insight into corporate processes, develop technical and soft skills, and build a foundation for long-term career success in a high-performance environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily departmental operations and contribute to team objectives
• Assist with project-based tasks aligned to your field of study
• Engage in learning and development activities provided by Rand Refinery
• Maintain accurate records and documentation as required
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives
• Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and a commitment to continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Must be a South African citizen
• Hold a completed tertiary qualification relevant to the internship field
• Achieved a minimum overall aggregate of 75% across all modules
• Able to provide a certified academic record and qualification certificates
• Submit a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet summarizing marks per module
• Provide a certified copy of your ID and Grade 12 certificate
• Submit a concise 2-page CV highlighting academic and personal achievements
