The Finance Internship gives graduates hands-on experience in municipal financial management. Interns will learn how financial systems and processes are managed in local government, including accounting procedures, financial reporting, and supply chain management.

Responsibilities

• Apply accounting policies and procedures
• Process accounting entries accurately
• Manage creditors, debtors, and general ledger functions
• Liaise with supply chain and procurement units
• Assist with stock and asset management
• Maintain proper financial records and filing systems

Qualifications

• National Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Management Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent qualification
