Wabtec Corporation is seeking an engineering intern to support their Kempton Park operations. The company, a global provider of equipment, systems, digital solutions, and value-added services, focuses on performance-driven progress and unlocking customers' potential. The role involves production support, investigation support, MRP implementation, documentation support, safety support, quality improvements, and productivity improvements. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and research skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, good communication, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Find and read drawings, link issues to the relevant parts that could contribute and make reasonable judgement about the most likely offender
• Analyze the production team’s inputs for the problem they are having
• Use knowledge from drawing\assembly combined with Logical thinking to ask the correct questions and drive the investigation
• Take problems that have been raised sort where the investigation should be aligned
• Find possible issues, corrections required
• Manage uploads to the system, revisions, drawings

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Engineering
