Transnet Freight Rail (TFR) invites unemployed South African graduates, aged 18–35, to apply for its two-year Young Professional-in-Training (YPiT) Programme. This structured programme is designed to provide participants with both institutional knowledge and on-the-job experience in various functional areas of TFR. The goal is to equip graduates with the practical skills and competencies required for future employment within the organisation or the broader labour market. The programme is mentored and performance-assessed every six months to ensure alignment with both the candidate’s development objectives and TFR’s strategic goals. This opportunity targets graduates from Department of Higher Education & Training (DHET)-registered institutions — including Universities, Universities of Technology, and TVET Colleges — who possess a National Diploma, Degree, or BTech (NQF Level 6 or above) with no prior work experience in their field of study
