The company is seeking an IT technician with proven experience in computer science, engineering, or a related field. Certification as an IT technician is preferred, along with excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills, excellent communication, outstanding organizational and time-management skills, a deep understanding of diverse computer systems and networks, good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles, great troubleshooting abilities, an energetic, positive approach, and a clear criminal record. The responsibilities include installing and maintaining computer systems and networks, training users, setting up workstations, checking hardware, installing and configuring software, developing and maintaining local networks, ensuring security and privacy, providing orientation and guidance, organizing and scheduling upgrades and maintenance, performing troubleshooting, maintaining records, identifying equipment shortages, and contributing to the school's values and ethos. The successful candidate will start on 01 July 2024.
